Chris M. Troppito is a founding member of the firm. Prior to attending law school, Chris was the owner and operating of a residential painting company with 14 employees, from 1993 to 1998. Chris was also part owner of a deck and fence company from 1996-1997. Due to Chris’ construction background, he has real-time knowledge of the problems that contractors and subcontractors face on a daily basis, including issues with payment and mechanic’s liens. Chris has used this knowledge to help his clients in all phases of their business, starting with the formation of their business and general business advice, to collection of past due accounts and the placing of mechanic’s liens on the jobsite property. Chris’ clients really love the fact that he was a former contractor and speaks the language.

Chris started the firm in 2007, which has an emphasis on construction law litigation, collections and mechanic’s liens. Chris received his degree in Business Administration with a Major in Finance from Kansas State University in 1995. While in law school, Chris was a member of The Urban Lawyer and Deans List for his academic achievements. In 2011, Chris was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and a Top Young Attorney in Missouri and Kansas by KC Magazine.  In 2012 & 2013, Chris was selected as a Super Lawyer and a Top Young Attorney in Missouri and Kansas by KC Magazine.
